Camino de Santiago Time Lapse Series - 03: San Juan de Ortega, Castilla y León (Sep. 24, 2020)
The next in this mini time lapse series is a windy afternoon recording in front of the Monastery San Juan de Ortega, 1 day before reaching the city of Burgos. I didn't have anything to eat until getting here in the afternoon, so first thing - I enjoyed some delicious snacks from the local bar nearby and the windy quietness of this beautiful, scenic place.
This time lapse was shot with Canon 6D Mark II set on the tripod. I decided to go with the automatic time lapse function, and programmed the settings at 300 frames with 5 seconds interval, hoping the clouds wouldn't disappear and I could capture their dramatic move.
Funny fact: the reason I decided to film this was, actually, the fact that, after the food, I became super-ready to take a siesta, so the camera did its thing as I snoozed on the nearby bench. A half an hour later, the job was done and, after an espresso, I hit the road with newly-refreshed vigor.
